This past Summer we decided to do some local adventures while teaching in our study abroad program in Barcelona. We rented a car (which happens to be really cheap out of the El Prat airport) and drove around the towns of Catalunya. Our favorite visit was Tarragona, which once housed an entire Roman settlement. An important side note: Anyone who knows us will know that we were especially excited by how inexpensive it is to see all the main Roman ruins in Tarragona. It's only 7 Euro per adult and kids are free!
